Advancing Financial Adviser – Heilbron/Frankfort

About the role

The Advancing Financial Adviser will join Old Mutual’s branch in Heilbron/Frankfort, providing front‑line financial advice and support to customers. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality service, identifying sales opportunities and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Handle standard customer service enquiries and assist visitors, directing complex matters to senior staff.
• Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system and document follow‑up actions after each interaction.
• Interview clients using a multilevel sales script to clarify their financial needs and propose suitable solutions.
• Prospect new customers by phone or in person, develop relationships and generate leads for the sales pipeline.
• Support business development activities by following established procedures and preparing data for analysis.
• Identify potential sales opportunities through referrals, recommendations and data exploration.
• Adhere to mandatory operational and regulatory compliance procedures to uphold quality standards.
• Participate in networking activities both within and outside the organisation to broaden influence.

Required profile

• Minimum NQF Level 5 qualification (Higher or Occupational Certificate) or equivalent.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to ask probing questions and qualify prospects.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Competencies such as stakeholder balance, effective networking, accountability and interpersonal savvy.
