Advancing Financial Adviser – De Aar

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking an Advancing Financial Adviser to join its team in De Aar. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them understand financial products and guiding them through the sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Provide standard customer service, handling routine inquiries and directing complex matters to senior staff.
• Assess compliance with internal standards and external regulatory codes for all interactions.
• Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system and document follow‑up actions.
• Interview customers using a multilevel sales script to clarify their financial needs.
• Prospect and develop relationships with allocated potential customers through calls and face‑to‑face visits.
• Support business development activities and assist colleagues by following established procedures.
• Identify sales opportunities by gathering referrals and recommendations from existing clients.
• Enter relevant data into spreadsheets or standard formats for analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum NQF Level 5 – Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate (or equivalent).
• Strong customer‑focused attitude with the ability to communicate clearly and build trust.
• Ability to follow mandatory procedures and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to work on‑site in De Aar and travel within the assigned area as needed.
