Accounts Administrator (Fixed-Term Contract)

About the role

Icebolethu Group is hiring five experienced Accounts Administrators for its Finance Department on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on transaction processing support, data migration to Acumatica, detailed claims reconciliations and audit file preparation across several trading entities of the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Claims reconciliation and matching: reconcile claims from contract inception to date and perform three-way matching of approved claims, burial order forms and payments received from third parties (e.g. RMA).
• Data migration and transaction processing in Acumatica: capture and process historical financial transactions across subsidiaries, migrate data including PO receipting and conversion of quotations and sales orders into invoices, and capture fixed assets on the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) module.
• Audit preparation and financial reconciliations: prepare structured audit files for external audits, perform detailed Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations, and ensure accurate transaction processing across entities such as Burial, Group, Catering, Foundation, iTravel, Tombstones, Memorial, Properties, iMobile, Security, Cleaning and Academy.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance or Bookkeeping (National Diploma or degree preferred).
• 2-4 years of proven experience in accounts processing, claims reconciliations, data migration and audit preparation.
• Attention to detail, numerical accuracy and ability to work efficiently under tight month-end and audit deadlines.
• Solid understanding of internal financial controls, basic accounting principles and compliance standards.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Acumatica ERP is highly advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel for complex reconciliations.
