Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking a highly execution‑driven Accounting Manager to work directly with leadership and oversee day‑to‑day client delivery. The role combines team leadership, month‑end close ownership, and client‑facing responsibilities while building systems and automation to scale our operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of bookkeepers/accountants, reviewing work for accuracy and timeliness.
• Own the month‑end close process for all assigned clients, ensuring deadlines are met and processes are standardized.
• Drive adoption of internal tools (e.g., Double) and identify automation opportunities to reduce manual effort.
• Serve as the primary US‑facing point of contact for select clients, handling requests, questions, and escalations.
• Step in to unblock work or resolve complex accounting issues, maintaining high‑quality financial reporting.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in accounting or financial services.
• Strong operator who balances detail, speed, and accountability.
• Comfortable managing people while still executing tasks.
• High ownership mindset; proactive and self‑directed.
