Accounting Clerk

About the role

A dynamic and fast-paced multinational organisation is seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Accounting Clerk to join its finance team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong bookkeeping fundamentals, QuickBooks experience, and exposure to multi‑currency transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Process and reconcile multi‑currency bank transactions across various company bank accounts.
• Prepare and accurately post payroll journals within required deadlines.
• Process supplier invoices and bills on QuickBooks, ensuring correct coding, approvals, and payment terms.
• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor and account for foreign exchange gains and losses arising from multi‑currency transactions.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end financial close processes.
• Respond promptly to supplier, employee, and internal finance queries.
• Support internal and external audit requirements by providing relevant documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.
• Assist with ad‑hoc finance administration and reporting duties as required.

Required profile

• Diploma/Degree or any relevant accounting qualification.
• Proven experience working with QuickBooks (essential).
• Sound understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
