Accountant – O&M and EPC Operations

About the role

As an Accountant you will deliver accurate and timely accounting, reporting and payment processes for Scatec’s Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) operating companies. You will work closely with operational, project and commercial teams to ensure financial records reflect entity and project performance.

Key responsibilities

• Complete month‑end accounting, post journals and prepare trial balances within Group reporting deadlines.
• Prepare bank, intercompany and balance‑sheet reconciliations, maintain fixed‑asset, lease and debt registers.
• Produce management accounts, Group reporting packs and cash‑flow information with variance analysis.
• Account for O&M revenue, costs and recharges, and process EPC percentage‑of‑completion schedules.
• Validate transactions and project allocations, monitor cost recoveries and margins, and escalate unusual items.
• Coordinate supplier payments, run payment cycles and forecast short‑term cash flow.
• Prepare tax workings, statutory reporting schedules and support audit documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent qualification.
• Three to five years of financial accounting, reporting or audit experience, preferably across multiple legal entities.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, month‑end accounting, reconciliations and annual financial statements.
• Experience with payments, cash‑flow forecasting, audit documentation and tax compliance (VAT, corporate income tax).
• Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail and clear communication in English.
