About the role
We are seeking an Accountant to join a fast‑growing, dynamic accounting firm located in Umhlanga Ridge. The role involves preparing management accounts, financial statements and handling tax compliance for a diverse client base.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly Management Accounts and Annual Financial Statements in line with legislation, including all supporting schedules.
- Prepare and submit monthly and annual SARS returns and perform related reconciliations.
- Liaise daily with clients to address accounting queries and provide advisory support.
Required profile
- Minimum B.Com degree with a major in Financial Accounting.
- At least 3 years of experience in a small to medium accounting firm, preferably with completed SAIPA articles.
- Fully computer literate with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Xero accounting software (preferred).
