Accountant – Full‑time Finance Role in Pretoria

About the role

We are looking for a driven and detail‑focused Accountant to join our finance team in Pretoria. The role covers the full accounting function, including reporting, reconciliations, month‑end processes and financial analysis, offering a solid platform to broaden your experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end accounting processes such as journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Prepare management accounts, financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure balance‑sheet accounts are properly reconciled.
• Assist with VAT, tax, audit and statutory compliance requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting.

Required profile

• BCom Accounting, Finance or related qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a full‑function accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with reconciliations, month‑end processes and statutory requirements.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.
