Accountant – Full-time Finance Role

About the role

A reputable and well‑established organisation is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join its finance team. This role is ideal for a finance professional confident in managing the full finance function and thriving in a fast‑paced operational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting and finance function.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow management.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Manage VAT, tax submissions, and audit preparations.
• Support financial planning and business decision‑making processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records and internal controls.

Required profile

• B.Com degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with SAP (essential).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (advantageous).
• Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
• Mature professional with a stable employment track record.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the finance function.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
