Accountant – Full Finance Function

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented finance professional to join a leading international manufacturing company in Midrand. The role offers the opportunity to own the full finance function, contribute to accurate financial reporting and support the business’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete finance function, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Process and reconcile all AP and AR transactions.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and support month‑end and year‑end processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
• Manage cash flow, banking transactions and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Liaise with auditors and assist with audit requirements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Required profile

• B.Com degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ accounting experience.
• Experience managing the full finance function.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with accounting systems.
