Accountant – Financial Reporting & Tax Specialist

About the role

The Accountant will be responsible for analysing, interpreting and reporting financial information to support decision‑making, ensuring compliance and safeguarding the financial health of the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and dashboards.
• Handle annual income, provisional tax and royalty tax filings.
• Produce annual financial statements and support external audits.
• Conduct internal audits and maintain robust internal controls.
• Manage weekly cash‑flow, payments and other reporting tasks.
• Record financial transactions, maintain accurate ledgers and ensure data integrity.
• Provide tax compliance, filing and planning advice.
• Analyse financial data, identify trends and deliver insights to management.
• Communicate financial information effectively across departments.
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounting, financial reporting and tax compliance.
• Strong understanding of audit processes and internal control frameworks.
• Ability to interpret financial data and present clear insights.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on data accuracy and regulatory adherence.
