Accountant – Finance & Business Development

About the role

Network Finance is seeking a dynamic Accountant who can blend solid accounting expertise with client relationship management and business development. The role is ideal for a commercially‑minded professional who enjoys working with people, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering value‑added financial support.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day accounting and financial reporting activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Support finance and operational processes to ensure business efficiency.
• Build, develop, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Assist with sales and business development initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen and expand client partnerships.
• Prepare financial and operational reports for management review.
• Provide excellent client service while supporting business growth objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver value‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• BCom Accounting or a related qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ accounting experience.
• Experience in sales, business development, or a client‑facing role.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Exposure to commercial or customer‑focused environments is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
