About the role

We are looking for a skilled and detail‑oriented Accounting Professional to join our growing finance team. The role involves managing full‑function accounting processes, preparing management accounts and supporting payroll and statutory submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑function accounting processes and maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform general ledger, bank, creditor, debtor and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Process accounting transactions, journals and adjustments.
• Assist with year‑end financial statements, audit requirements and statutory submissions such as VAT, PAYE and UIF.
• Manage payroll functions accurately and timely.
• Utilise accounting systems including Pastel, Sage Online and CaseWare Working Papers.
• Identify discrepancies and implement solutions to ensure financial accuracy.

Required profile

• SAIPA Professional Accountant (SA) or AGA qualification, or equivalent accounting/finance qualification.
• Proven experience in an accounting environment with strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting.
• Practical payroll experience.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
