Accountant / Assistant Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Accountant / Assistant Auditor to join an established accounting practice in Caledon. The successful candidate will support a varied client portfolio, handling both corporate and individual financial matters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate financial statements for companies and individuals.
• Manage tax compliance tasks, including filing and advisory services.
• Maintain client bookkeeping records and ensure proper accounting procedures.
• Assist with audit engagements where required, supporting senior auditors.
• Provide professional financial administration and client support.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an accounting or auditing practice.
• Familiarity with financial statements and taxation processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Independent work ethic with reliable delivery of quality work.
