Account Manager – Mowbray

About the role

Our client seeks a dynamic, driven Account Manager to join their Cape Town‑based team. You will grow existing B2B customer accounts and actively develop new business opportunities in the office automation market, focusing on printers, scanners, multifunction devices and managed print solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand a portfolio of B2B customer accounts.
• Prospect new business through cold calling, networking and referrals.
• Sell printers, scanners, MFPs and related office automation solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and solution recommendations.
• Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing and implementation.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with technical, service and administration teams to ensure excellent customer delivery.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12.
• 3–5 years proven B2B sales or account management experience.
• Direct experience selling printers and scanners (essential).
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong new‑business development and prospecting skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for travel within Cape Town.

What we offer

• Base salary of R 16 000 per month plus commission.
• Petrol allowance of 250 L per month.
• Cell phone allowance of R 309 per month (excluding VAT).
