About the role
Our client in Potchefstroom is looking for an Account Manager to join their team. The role focuses on managing and growing relationships with customers in the DIY and industrial tools sector.
Key responsibilities
- Call on existing customers regularly to understand their needs and ensure they are met.
- Retain and grow the existing customer database by delivering high‑quality service and customer journeys.
- Provide a complete range of DIY and industrial tools and hardware to keep customers satisfied.
- Conduct sales calls focused on building trust, identifying customer needs, and driving sales.
- Act as a trusted supplier and subject‑matter expert on the customer’s business.
- Listen to customer requirements, assist with business propositions, and resolve any queries.
- Advise customers on new and innovative products and services offered by the company.
Required profile
- Matric qualification.
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
- Account management experience.
- Hunter mindset and strong communication skills.
