Account Executive, SaaS (EMEA) - Cape Town

About the role

ApprovalMax, a B2B software that automates bill and expense approvals and integrates with Xero, QuickBooks Online and Oracle NetSuite, is hiring an Account Executive to drive growth of its SaaS product across the EMEA region. The role focuses on new business sales and prospecting, with inbound leads provided and full support from Marketing, Customer Success and Solutions Engineering. It is hybrid, with 2-3 days per week in the Cape Town office.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage a strategic territory plan covering quota attainment activities.
• Reach out to prospects by phone, email, LinkedIn and Zoom, and research and identify outbound prospects.
• Run discovery calls, sales demos, product walkthroughs and all customer interactions independently.
• Maintain sales forecasting data in the sales reporting system for opportunity management and reporting.
• Drive revenue by consistently achieving individual and team quotas.
• Represent the company at offline events, about 1-2 times per quarter.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors and company products, and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Fully fluent in English, with the right to work and reside in South Africa.
• At least 2 years of experience selling IT solutions, preferably B2B SaaS; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience selling to accountants and bookkeepers preferred but not required.
• Ability to travel.

Required skills

• Proven ability to manage sales with multiple decision makers.
• Proven record of building and managing a sales pipeline and exceeding quota.
• Strong oral and written presentation skills.
