About the role

homechoice is a leading South African homeware retailer with over 40 years of experience. The 24hr Flexi Sales & Customer Associate works on the showroom floor, delivering an exceptional in‑showroom customer experience and converting visits into sales through product demonstration, needs analysis and accurate order processing.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers on the showroom floor, understand their needs and convert interactions into sales while achieving individual targets.
• Demonstrate products, communicate features, benefits, pricing and promotional offers in line with the current catalogue.
• Capture customer orders, process payments, refunds and credits accurately and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
• Support basic stock handling, floor replenishment and maintain high standards of visual presentation and merchandising.
• Provide a professional, customer‑focused experience throughout the purchase journey and resolve basic queries, escalating complex issues as needed.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric (minimum requirement).
• At least 1 year of retail sales experience, preferably in a target‑driven environment.
• Customer‑facing sales experience with the ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Clear credit and criminal record; homewares retail experience is advantageous.
