About the role

This is a 12‑month graduate position in the Mechanical Engineering department at Dube Tradeport. The role offers structured guidance while you support the delivery of high‑quality engineering products and measurement workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Support engineering integrity and measurement workflows to ensure efficient product delivery.
• Collaborate across functions to understand design methodologies, production line processes and workflow integration.
• Apply knowledge of the full product development lifecycle to mitigate risks and inform operational decisions.
• Manage engineering timelines, eliminating delays and ensuring on‑time delivery of technical components.
• Create precise 3D models and comprehensive manufacturing drawing packs in line with industry standards.

Required profile

• Mechanical Engineering Diploma or Degree.
• 0–1 years of relevant experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑motivated with high energy and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Creo or similar 3D CAD software.
• Experience creating 3D models and manufacturing drawing packs.
• Understanding of precise measurement techniques used in engineering.
