Key responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in delivering high‑quality care to small animals.
• Administer medications, vaccines and treatments as directed.
• Perform laboratory tests, diagnostic procedures and imaging techniques.
• Monitor patients during surgery and recovery periods.
• Prepare surgical instruments and equipment.
• Handle animal restraint and positioning.
• Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Dip/Degree in Veterinary Nursing with SAVC registration.
• Updated CPD points and a valid driver’s licence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Passion for animal welfare; sales skills are an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
