Training Manager

About the role

The Training Manager will lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of learning solutions that support business objectives across the network. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure that onboarding, up‑skilling and compliance programmes are engaging, measurable and aligned with brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an end‑to‑end learning content strategy, from needs analysis to impact assessment.
• Coordinate onboarding and ongoing training for staff, franchisees and cross‑functional teams.
• Maintain and enhance the company Learning Management System (LMS), monitoring engagement, completion rates and compliance.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Clinical, HR and subject‑matter experts to create blended learning solutions.
• Analyse training data to generate insights and inform strategic decisions.
• Support rollout of promotions, product launches and operational changes through targeted learning interventions.
• Lead regional frontline learning roadshows, handling content planning, logistics and delivery.

Required profile

• Grade 12 plus a Bachelor’s or Honours degree in Learning & Development, Education, HR or related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience in adult learning, development or operational training.
• Strong knowledge of SAQA, SETA and NQF regulations; SDF qualification and assessor registration are advantageous.
• Experience in retail or clinical environments is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management System (LMS) platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with analytics dashboards.
• Familiarity with AI and large language model tools for learning design.
• Digital learning platform administration.
