Technical Manager – Industrial Projects

About the role

The Technical Manager will lead the design, engineering and construction of industrial facilities across energy, water treatment, waste management and biomass energy sectors. This senior multidisciplinary position oversees projects from concept through commissioning and hand‑over, ensuring compliance, cost control and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop technical solutions that meet industry best practices and local regulations.
• Take overall responsibility for technical deliverables, managing time, cost, quality, safety and performance targets.
• Prepare and review execution plans, specifications, tender documents and subcontractor assessments.
• Supervise construction and commissioning teams, coordinating process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil and structural disciplines.
• Support business development through energy audits, feasibility studies and preparation of technical and commercial proposals.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Process, Mechanical, Electrical or Project Management).
• Minimum 10 years experience in EPC, industrial engineering, energy, water or waste treatment projects.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering and construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control system interfaces.
• Solid understanding of project planning, cost control, risk management and HSE requirements.
• Commercial acumen for supplier evaluation, negotiation and budget management.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Google Workspace.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
