Technical Draughtsperson (Digital Fabrication & BIM)

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Draughtsperson to join our production modelling team, bridging structural engineering intent and precision CNC manufacturing. You will turn Issued for Construction (IFC) models into detailed shop drawings and CNC‑ready files for our hot‑wire cutting machines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D shop drawings in Revit and Rhino, meeting structural and fabrication tolerances.
• Manage model data within a BIM environment (Autodesk FORMA), ensuring version control and seamless handovers between engineering and production.
• Prepare complex geometries for CNC cutting in Rhino, accounting for material kerf and heat‑melt variables.
• Interpret structural, architectural and MEP drawings to identify clashes before production.
• Collaborate with the Technical Production Lead, Factory Manager and CNC operators to optimise cut paths and reduce material waste.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in a production, fabrication or construction environment.
• High proficiency in Revit families and detailed modelling.
• Proven experience with Rhino (and Grasshopper is highly desirable).
• Strong understanding of BIM workflows, LOD 400 and collaborative data environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot geometric problems and a “maker” mindset.
