Tech Lead, Android Core Product

About the role

This strategic Android engineering role focuses on shaping the future of a fast‑growing mobile product used by millions worldwide. You will own major features from concept through release while partnering closely with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own major Android features end‑to‑end, from definition through testing and release.
• Shape the Android engineering direction by providing technical leadership and architectural guidance.
• Monitor and improve reliability metrics, proactively addressing technical risks.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA and other engineering teams to align solutions with user needs.
• Review pull requests, mentor teammates, and handle critical incidents to ensure high quality.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on Android development.
• Strong familiarity with Android components and production‑quality app delivery.
• Hands‑on expertise in Kotlin and modern Android development frameworks.
• Understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, background services, and automated testing.
