Student Recruiter/Sales – Durban

About the role

Our client in the private education sector is recruiting a proactive and dynamic Student Advisor to join their student recruitment team. This role is ideal for someone confident in presenting at schools, driven by performance targets, and passionate about helping students take the next step in their academic journey.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver compelling presentations at targeted schools and expos.
• Distribute marketing materials and generate student interest.
• Represent the institution at stakeholder events and meet monthly presentation targets.
• Make proactive calls, schedule and conduct student interviews using scripts.
• Respond to online applications and achieve interview targets.
• Guide students through the application process and follow up on payments and documentation.
• Drive conversions through calling campaigns and meet fee payment targets.
• Support the team to meet annual registration targets and maintain accurate interview forms.
• Maintain daily reports and update CRM systems as required.

Required profile

• 3‑year Diploma or Degree in PR, Business, Marketing or Communications.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in sales, preferably in education/student recruitment.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised, target‑driven and customer‑focused.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
