Stock Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Stock Controller to join a well‑established South African bathroom retailer. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting purchasing decisions and ensuring smooth order fulfilment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records across the business.
• Record and monitor all stock movements in the ERP system.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies promptly.
• Support cycle counts, stocktakes and inventory audits.
• Monitor stock levels and flag shortages or excess.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse, Sales and Finance teams.
• Reduce shrinkage, losses and stock‑related errors.
• Improve stock control processes and reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in stock control or inventory management.
• Relevant certificate, diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory Management or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Highly organised, detail‑focused and able to work accurately in a fast‑moving environment.
• Proactive, reliable, accountable with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Clear communicator and confident team player.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ERP and inventory systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Working hours: Mon‑Thu 07:00‑17:00, Fri 07:00‑16:00, every second Saturday 08:00‑13:00.
