Space Knowledge & Communications Expert

About the role

We are looking for a Space Knowledge & Communications Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme. The role will focus on knowledge management, editorial production, communication, and the visibility of policy and technical content across digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and curate knowledge assets related to the Africa‑EU space partnership.
• Produce editorial and communication materials, including policy briefs, case studies, and visibility content compliant with EU standards.
• Develop and maintain digital knowledge platforms to disseminate technical and policy information.
• Coordinate communication activities to enhance the programme’s visibility among stakeholders.
• Support multilingual outreach, leveraging English and, where possible, French or Portuguese.

Required profile

• University degree (minimum three‑year program) in communication, journalism, knowledge management, information science or a related field.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
• At least three years of professional experience in communication, editorial production, knowledge management or digital content.
• Minimum one year of experience producing knowledge or communication products for donor‑funded or institutional programmes, including policy and technical content.
• Experience with space or science‑technology‑innovation (STI) programmes is an advantage.
