Sourcing Coordinator

About the role

The Sourcing Coordinator will manage the end‑to‑end sourcing process for finished goods from international suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and quality standards. This position supports buyers in delivering commercially successful product ranges for a leading fashion retailer.

Key responsibilities

• Source finished goods from overseas suppliers in a cost‑effective and timely manner.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international manufacturers.
• Understand garment construction to recommend alternative fabrics or methods.
• Ensure critical path deadlines are met for seasonal deliveries.
• Maintain accurate product data in the PLM system.
• Collaborate closely with Buyers to execute briefs accurately.
• Identify portfolio growth opportunities through commercial awareness.
• Negotiate styling changes and pricing solutions that benefit both parties.
• Support continuous improvement of sourcing processes and guide the Sourcing Assistant as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience working directly with overseas suppliers.
• Strong administrative and written communication skills.
• Computer literate with good systems proficiency.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (advantageous).
• Experience managing or supervising a Sourcing Assistant.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
• Fashion retail or sourcing experience highly advantageous.
