Senior Mechanical / Structural Draughtsperson

About the role

We are seeking a senior mechanical and structural draughtsperson to join our engineering team in Edenvale. The successful candidate will interpret design instructions and produce precise AutoCAD drawings for industrial manufacturing projects, working autonomously within a global organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed mechanical and structural drawings using AutoCAD.
• Interpret design instructions and translate them into accurate technical drawings.
• Manage assigned drafting work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and project teams.
• Maintain high drawing standards, accuracy and document control.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of professional AutoCAD experience.
• Minimum 10 years of mechanical or structural drafting experience.
• Proven track record in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to demonstrate technical competence during a practical assessment.
• A relevant technical or draughting qualification is advantageous.
