Senior Manager – Non-Financial Risk (Tech, AI & Change)

About the role

This senior position within Liberty's Corporate and Investment Banking division leads the management of non‑financial risks linked to technology, artificial intelligence and major change programmes. The role provides independent oversight, challenges business proposals and ensures risks are understood, managed and mitigated in line with the organisation's risk appetite.

Key responsibilities

• Independent oversight and challenge of technology, AI and change initiatives within CIB.
• Lead risk identification, assessment and monitoring for technology platforms, AI solutions, cybersecurity and data privacy.
• Develop and implement monitoring mechanisms and mitigation strategies to keep risk exposure within appetite.
• Drive implementation and continuous improvement of the non‑financial risk management framework.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to strengthen internal controls and promote a strong risk‑aware culture.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Technology, Risk Management or related field.
• 8‑10 years of progressive experience in technology risk, AI governance, change risk or operational risk, preferably within financial services.
• Deep knowledge of technology risk principles, AI governance frameworks, cybersecurity best practices and data‑privacy regulations.
• Proven ability to provide independent risk oversight, challenge business proposals and ensure compliance with risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and strategic thinking capabilities.
