SAIPA Traineeship – Accounting, Tax & Advisory (2027) in George

About the role

An exciting SAIPA traineeship offering broad exposure to SME clients in accounting, tax and advisory, with direct access to senior partners and a supportive, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform independent reviews and compilation engagements for clients.
• Prepare annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS for SMEs.
• Compute corporate, trust and individual tax liabilities and submit returns via SARS e‑filing.
• Assist clients with bookkeeping, monthly management accounts, VAT calculations (VAT201) and CIPC secretarial duties.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated team player who loves to learn, communicates well and copes under pressure.
• Desires to work in an inclusive, diverse, supportive culture focusing on SME financial management, taxation and advisory.

Required skills

• Financial Accounting, IFRS for SMEs, Independent Reviews.
