Risk & Analytics Lead

About the role

This is a hands‑on, in‑the‑weeds position focused on enterprise risk management with a strong emphasis on financial and liquidity risk. You will build and improve models, stress‑test assumptions, analyse data and communicate findings in clear, actionable terms while also guiding a small risk and analytics team.

Key responsibilities

• Own and run the monthly liquidity stress test, continuously enhancing the model and delivering concise reports on findings and cash‑flow implications.
• Develop group strategies for asset‑liability management, funding, commercial‑paper usage and capital‑liquidity considerations aligned with ICAAP/ILAPP frameworks.
• Monitor and measure financial risk indicators, explain drivers and propose improved measurement approaches.
• Analyse and quality‑check the monthly Group Risk Report and follow up on operational risk trackers.
• Review and pressure‑test IFRS 9 and expected credit loss models, challenging assumptions and translating outcomes for business stakeholders.
• Conduct deep‑dive analyses of operational credit‑risk questions to enhance underwriting, product mix and profitability.
• Query the data warehouse directly, validate BI and KPI reports, and build models using SQL and other tools.
• Provide ad‑hoc decision support and due‑diligence analysis for executives and brand heads.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise risk management, particularly financial and liquidity risk.
• Ability to work independently on complex models and data analyses.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical findings into business‑friendly language.
