Receiving Team Leader – Warehouse Operations

About the role

The Receiving Team Leader will oversee daily warehouse receiving activities, compile production reports and ensure smooth hand‑over to management. This position drives safety, quality and continuous improvement while coordinating a team of warehouse operators.

Key responsibilities

• Compile and present daily production reports to management.
• Delegate and distribute daily tasks to team members.
• Enforce compliance with company safety regulations and ISO 14001 standards.
• Process WIP delinquent reports and improve warehouse efficiencies.
• Lead work‑group meetings and ensure production readiness at shift start and end.
• Maintain process capability, 5S standards and 100% compliance.
• Support Process Coach and SQDCME objectives.
• Work during shutdown periods and regular shift hours.

Required profile

• National Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field (preferred).
• Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in an automotive or similar warehouse environment.
• Valid forklift driver’s licence (advantageous).

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Knowledge of Panda warehouse management system.
