Raw Materials Planner – Manufacturing

About the role

The Raw Materials Planner will be responsible for planning, scheduling and ordering raw materials used in Givaudan's manufacturing facilities. The role ensures inventory levels meet KPI targets while supporting internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Follow SAP parameterization and schedule material deliveries to avoid shortages.
• Maintain realistic daily plans considering production capacity and material availability.
• Escalate and resolve order issues, complaints and prioritisation conflicts.
• Control obsolescence using the SLOB tool and provide mid‑long term forecasts to procurement.
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly status reports (COOIS, OTS, past‑due purchase orders).
• Create and release repack process orders as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Foreign Trade or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in raw material planning or supply chain.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• APICS certification (desired).
• Strong ERP/MRP expertise, especially SAP.
• Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools (BI, BusinessObjects).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
