About the role
The Quality Controller ensures that all food production and operational processes meet the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and quality. Working within catering and food service operations, the role focuses on compliance with HACCP, FSSC 22000 and other relevant standards to protect product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor daily operations to verify adherence to HACCP and FSSC 22000 requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production areas, equipment and processes.
- Identify non‑conformities, document findings and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of quality checks, audit results and compliance reports.
- Collaborate with production staff to implement best practices in hygiene and safety.
- Stay updated on changes to food safety regulations and industry standards.
Required profile
- Proven experience in food safety or quality assurance within a catering or food production environment.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, FSSC 22000 and related food safety standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate findings clearly.
