Planning Specialist

About the role

You will manage production orders and ensure timely delivery of key OE & AM products. The role supports the entire planning process, from order acknowledgment to visual management, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Load and maintain production orders, ensuring alignment with customer due dates.
• Create comprehensive job packs with accurate drawings, BOMs, pick slips and quality documents.
• Manage MRP action messages, cancellations and scheduling adjustments.
• Review and correct production BOMs, driving corrective actions for system accuracy.
• Update visual management tools such as slotting room tags and status boards.
• Handle sales change notes, excess stock costing and shipment coordination.
• Expedite and source lower‑level items through branch networks and purchasing.
• Assist with ERP item loading, subcontract order management and routing updates.

Required profile

• National Diploma in Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of technical planning experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong SAP experience and advanced Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of production planning processes and ability to read technical drawings.
