Phlebotomy Technician – Mercantile, Port Elizabeth

About the role

An opportunity exists for a Phlebotomy Technician to join the team at our Mercantile branch in Port Elizabeth. We are seeking an individual who displays a proven track record of competence in Phlebotomy and who has a high level of ethics and integrity while consistently aligning with the PathCare values.

Required skills

• Phlebotomy Technician qualification and registration with HPCSA
• Phlebotomy experience (order of draw, point‑of‑care testing)
• Pathology experience, including use of Hemocue, Stratus and arterial blood‑gas analysis
• Computer literacy; Meditech knowledge is advantageous
• Valid Code B driver’s licence (manual transmission)
