Pharmacist Assistant – Post Basic

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist Assistant (Post‑Basic) to join Medirite Sea Point’s pharmacy team immediately. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, supporting daily dispensing operations and ensuring smooth administrative processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock levels and manage inventory control.
• Assist in dispensing medication under pharmacist supervision.
• Perform routine pharmacy administration tasks, including record keeping and documentation.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy work area.
• Provide front‑shop service, greeting customers and handling enquiries.

Required profile

• Qualified Pharmacist Assistant with a Post‑Basic certification.
• Ready to start immediately.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the pharmacist and other staff.
