Mobile Developer - Android

About the role

As a Mobile Developer you will design, build, maintain and enhance secure, scalable Android applications that enable seamless digital payment experiences for millions of customers, while contributing to Flash’s technology strategy and product innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain native Android applications using modern development practices.
• Deliver secure, high‑performing mobile solutions aligned to business requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA and other developers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Integrate Android applications with internal systems, payment platforms and third‑party services.
• Participate in solution design, technical planning and estimation activities.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve production issues and application defects.
• Support deployment processes and contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements.
• Mentor team members and provide out‑of‑hours production support when required.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of relevant Android development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced fintech environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Ownership and accountability for delivery, quality and stability.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing secure, reliable solutions.
• Continuous learning mindset to stay up‑to‑date with emerging mobile technologies.

Required skills

• Kotlin programming language.
• Android SDK, Android Architecture Components and Jetpack libraries.
• RESTful API integration and third‑party services.
• MVVM and modern mobile architecture patterns.
• Git version control.
• CI/CD pipelines for mobile deployments.
• Publishing and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store.
