Litigation Support Specialist

About the role

Job Duck is seeking a motivated Litigation Support Specialist to join a fast‑paced family law practice. This remote, full‑time position supports attorneys and clients throughout the case lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all legal documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily client communications, calls, and inquiries.
• Support back‑office legal operations and workflow implementation.
• Assist attorneys with strategic case planning, drafting, and execution.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation within Clio.
• Generate reports and affidavits related to spousal support, alimony, and equitable distribution.
• Review and analyze discovery responses for completeness and accuracy.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to streamline case progression.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience as a legal assistant or in a law firm.
• Strong legal drafting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication (Spanish a plus).
• High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Clio case‑management software.
• Experience using AI tools and other legal technology platforms.
• Reliable remote work setup (computer, headset, stable internet).
