Junior Internal Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Internal Auditor to join Agrimark Operations, a leading agri‑retail business in South Africa. In this role you will evaluate the effectiveness of our control systems, help minimise risk and support the continuous improvement of our retail and e‑commerce operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and document branch audits and stock counts across our network of locations.
• Prepare accurate, detailed audit reports highlighting findings and recommendations.
• Identify risks, control weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
• Recommend practical risk‑mitigation and control measures to management.
• Support risk‑management, loss‑control and systems‑evaluation activities.
• Perform related administrative and ad‑hoc duties as required.

Required profile

• National Diploma in Internal Audit.
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal transport.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to work independently.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with computer‑assisted audit software.
