About the role

The successful candidate will provide day‑to‑day technical support across multiple sites, maintain Microsoft 365 environments, and ensure the stability and security of the organisation’s IT infrastructure. This position is ideal for a proactive, solutions‑driven professional with strong systems administration and end‑user support experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver on‑site and remote IT support to users across several branches.
  • Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, tablets, printers and other equipment.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services including user accounts, licensing, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and Exchange.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking and connectivity issues.
  • Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, firewalls, backup solutions, telephony and cybersecurity measures.
  • Support internal business systems and applications, logging and resolving tickets within agreed SLAs.
  • Liaise with external service providers, vendors and consultants for infrastructure and security matters.
  • Maintain documentation, asset registers and contribute to system improvement initiatives.

Required profile

  • 5–10 years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support or Systems Administration.
  • Strong experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, backups and cybersecurity.
  • Ability to troubleshoot independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
  • Valid driver’s licence preferred.

  • Microsoft 365 administration (user accounts, licensing, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Exchange).
  • Hardware troubleshooting (laptops, desktops, tablets, printers).
  • Networking fundamentals, firewalls and backup solutions.
  • Cybersecurity best practices.
  • Ticketing system management.
  • CompTIA A+ certification.
  • CompTIA Network+ certification.
  • Microsoft certification.
  • ITIL Foundation (highly advantageous).
  • Cisco CCNA (highly advantageous).
  • Cloud certifications such as AWS, VMware or Google Cloud (highly advantageous).

What we offer

  • Negotiable salary around R22 000 per month.
