About the role
OUTsurance is looking for a dynamic Insurance Broker to join its Centurion team. You will be responsible for expanding the short‑term insurance portfolio by selling both personal and commercial lines, while delivering a high‑quality customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and grow a book of short‑term insurance business.
- Prospect, canvass and generate new sales leads for personal and commercial lines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the broker tied‑agent model.
- Collaborate with the sales support function and adhere to company processes.
Required profile
- Completed Matric (National Senior Certificate).
- Own reliable vehicle with uninterrupted access and a valid Code B driver’s licence.
- Minimum 3 years of external, face‑to‑face sales experience.
- Self‑starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- Analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Resilient, adaptable and able to work under pressure.
- Team player who can also work independently and accept feedback.
