Instructional Designer – Totalsports

About the role

The Instructional Designer II will design and develop complex learning materials, including online courses and training modules, working closely with business subject matter experts to meet organisational learning goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced digital, facilitated and blended learning solutions.
• Collaborate with business SMEs to define course objectives and content.
• Apply instructional design theories such as ADDIE, 5Di and SAM.
• Maintain project plans, documentation and provide internal QA and peer review.
• Present learning solutions to key stakeholders and stay updated on L&D trends.
• Conduct comprehensive learning needs analyses.

Required profile

• Qualification in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Human Resource Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant instructional design experience.
• Project management or change management exposure.
• Curriculum planning and design expertise, with ability to create high‑quality storyboards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with authoring tools such as Articulate Rise, InDesign and Vyond.
• Strong knowledge of design frameworks like ADDIE, 5Di and SAM.
• Data collection and analysis capabilities.
