About the role
Indirect procurement plays a key role in the smooth running of our business. The Indirect Material Buyer will support the local site to source indirect materials and services, assist with new indirect program introductions, evaluate the supply base, and implement strategic initiatives that deliver cost savings, process improvements, supplier innovation, and supplier management.
Key responsibilities
- Source indirect materials and services for the local site.
- Support the introduction of new indirect procurement programs.
- Evaluate and award contracts, managing the supply base.
- Implement strategic initiatives focused on cost savings and process improvements.
- Drive supplier innovation and manage supplier relationships.
- Conduct total value management, compile adjudications, and perform cost walks and benchmarking.
- Ensure cost containment across indirect spend categories.
