Human Resources Generalist

About the role

As a Human Resources Generalist at TTEC in Cape Town, you will partner with operations and human capital teams to enhance the employee experience. You will act as a trusted advisor, handling employee relations, benefits, onboarding, and compliance while contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain employee records and use the Human Capital database for data collection and record management.
• Support benefit enrollment, prepare payroll reports, and assist with payroll preparation.
• Facilitate onboarding, health and safety training, and medical checks, ensuring all documentation is complete.
• Assist the recruiting team and manage employment‑related documents.
• Address employee relations issues, performance actions, and terminations, escalating morale‑impacting concerns to service delivery leaders.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of local HR laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills adaptable to diverse employee and management styles.
• Open, honest, and empathetic approach when working with people.
• Commitment to follow procedures and support team members with their questions.
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor in challenging situations.
