General Foreman – Western Cape

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Foreman to lead daily on‑site operations across commercial and residential projects in the Western Cape. The successful candidate will coordinate labour, subcontractors and materials, ensuring that each project meets quality, timeline and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily on‑site activities and manage the construction crew.
• Coordinate labour, subcontractors and material deliveries.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to required standards.
• Enforce health and safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Report progress, issues and milestones to project management.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years proven experience as a General or Senior Foreman.
• Minimum NQF 4/5 qualification; NQF 6, Red Seal Certificate, MBA are advantageous.
• Residency in the Western Cape.
• Solid experience in both commercial and residential construction, including structural, wet trades and finishing work.
• Strong leadership and site supervision abilities.
• Ability to manage teams, timelines and quality standards.
• Good understanding of construction drawings and site safety.
