Form Fill & Seal Operator

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Form Fill & Seal Operator to join our snack manufacturing production team in Montague Gardens, Cape Town. You will operate and monitor packaging machinery to ensure high‑quality output in a fast‑paced FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Form Fill and Seal (FFS) / bag maker packaging machines.
• Ensure packaging output meets quality and production standards.
• Perform routine machine checks and basic troubleshooting.
• Reduce machine downtime and production waste.
• Load and use correct packaging materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe production environment.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Assist with production line operations when required.
• Report machine faults and maintenance needs to management.
• Meet production targets and deadlines.

Required profile

• Previous experience operating packaging machinery in a manufacturing or FMCG setting.
• Ability to work shifts and overtime as needed.
• Reliable transport to the workplace.
• Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Basic mechanical and technical troubleshooting ability.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing and packaging processes is advantageous.
