Financial Manager – Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Financial Manager to lead the end‑to‑end finance function for a forward‑thinking business that embraces innovation and AI. This full‑time position offers the chance to shape financial strategy, mentor a team, and drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Own the complete finance function, including month‑end and year‑end reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow and statutory tax compliance.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team to foster a high‑performance culture.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and internal controls.
• Collaborate with operational stakeholders to provide commercial financial insights.
• Support optimisation of financial systems and adopt AI‑driven tools.

Required profile

• BCom Accounting qualification (essential).
• CA(SA) preferred; CIMA also considered.
• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification finance experience.
• 1–3 years of management experience.
• Proven experience managing the full finance function.
• Genuine interest in AI, technology and continuous learning.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xero accounting software.
