Accountant – Full‑time role in Johannesburg West

About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Accountant to join a growing organisation in the West Rand. The role is ideal for a detail‑oriented finance professional who enjoys a hands‑on environment and managing the full accounting function.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure the integrity of financial records.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and annual audit processes.

Required profile

• B.Com Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of the full finance function.
• Bilingual capability is advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems.
